Celebrating Esan Heritage & Togetherness
The Annual Esan Cultural Day and Symposium is our flagship celebration, serving as an educational, social, and cultural bridge. We gather to show off traditional attire, share native dishes, dance, and discuss our rich heritage. This year's symposium focus centers on the preservation of our language and identity in a multicultural Canadian society.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Welcome & Welcome & Opening Rituals
Anthems, traditional kolanut blessing, and welcoming remarks by the President.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Welcome & Cultural Day Symposium
Keynote lecture by Prof. Evelyn Ibhade on "Identity Transfer in the Diaspora: Bridging the 35 Kingdoms." followed by Q&A panel.

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Welcome & Youth Showcases & Language Recitals
Performances by the Esan Language Center kids, folklore readings, and poetry recitals.

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Welcome & Traditional Dance, Feast & Social
Igbabonelimhin masquerade dances, native Esan food service, and community networking session.
